Netskope GovCloud secures FedRAMP high authorization

Netskope GovCloud has achieved FedRAMP authorization at impact level “High” and is now listed on the FedRAMP Marketplace.

The US Department of Veterans Affairs sponsored the Authority to Operate (ATO) at this level following a review of assessment results provided by Coalfire, a certified third-party assessor organization (3PAO).

FedRAMP is a security assessment and authorization process U.S. federal agencies use to ensure secure access to cloud computing products and services. It offers a streamlined procurement process for public sector customers and promotes consistent security policies across different agencies.

U.S. government agencies must use FedRAMP-authorized Cloud Service Offerings (CSO) for public cloud services. President Biden’s executive order in 2021 aims to strengthen I.T. security and operations in the Federal government, emphasizing zero-trust architecture and the adoption of SaaS and PaaS technologies. Agencies now give priority to cloud security options that FedRAMP authorizes.

Netskope GovCloud offers federal agencies a cloud-ready networking and security architecture for zero-trust, with multiple layers of protection on a FedRAMP High authorized framework. It provides access to applications and data and data and threat protections. The platform also utilizes patented technology to identify and manage activities across cloud services and websites, including AI applications.

Netskope GovCloud offers federal government agencies comprehensive protection, reduces operating complexity, and enforces zero-trust principles. With a fully integrated platform and a single management console, agencies can achieve new protections, streamline administration, and enhance the overall integrity of their operating environment.

According to Dave Peranich, Netskope president, go-to-market, his company’s achievement of FedRAMP High authorization for their GovCloud platform highlights its commitment to US federal security.

He adds, “We remain fully invested in ensuring our platform is the most complete and highest-performing cloud-based solution possible for customers everywhere.”

Netskope provides organizations with data protection and cybersecurity solutions. The company says the platform, which uses zero-trust principles and AI/ML tech, gives real-time security to people, devices and data worldwide.

Recently, Netskope partnered with Telstra International, the global division of Australian telecom and tech company Telstra, to deliver a cloud-native SASE solution. This collaboration will provide Zero Trust Network Access services to organizations worldwide.
