Telstra International, Netskope expand collaboration to boost cybersecurity

Telstra International, the global division of Australian telecommunications and technology company Telstra, has announced an enhanced partnership with Netscope, a Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solutions provider. This collaboration aims to deliver a cloud-native SASE solution, including Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) services to organizations worldwide.

By utilizing Netskope‘s NewEdge global network, the companies say this partnership offers swift and secure accessibility to data, applications and websites from any location.

The companies also highlight that organizations operating on a regional or global scale can now tap into Telstra International’s security expertise and resources.

Netskope’s SASE platform offers a suite of Security Services Edge (SSE) technologies, including Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), next-generation Secure Web Gateway (NG-SWG), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), Cloud Firewall and threat and data protection. This integrated solution also incorporates software-defined wide-area networking (SD-WAN).

Geraldine Kor, a South Asian managing director and head of global enterprise at Telstra International, says. “Netskope’s technology was conceived specifically for the challenges our customers face today, and we are pleased to have expanded our partnership with an innovative company to elevate our customers’ security posture.”

Adding to this, Dave Rogers, the SVP of global alliances and channel sales at Netskope, states, “Netskope’s platform is underpinned by its best-in-class zero trust engine, enabling Telstra International to deliver comprehensive data and application protection while ensuring an exemplary user experience.”

Telstra International has a global workforce of over 3000 professionals. It caters to various clients, including businesses, governments, carriers and OTT providers. Netskope, on the other hand, applies zero trust principles and AI/ML innovations to safeguard data and fortify defenses against cyber threats.

In June, Telstra launched an industrial automation capability to improve Australia’s primary industries. With a portfolio of technologies, the company aims to make industries smarter, safer, cleaner, more productive, and more secure.
