Schneider Electric starts partner program; Axis Communications adds Remark as tech partner
Schneider Electric announced the formation of its ‘mySchneider IT Partner Program’ to support its IT channel partners with new tools and program structures, while smart surveillance company Axis Communications added video analytics firm Remark Holdings to its own partner technology program.
The mySchneider IT Partner Program is said to feature a simplified program structure and diverse specializations for key sectors, including data centers, IT solutions, software, and services, along with a range of sales tools, training, and enablement resources. It will also have benefits matching the specializations with a rewards program and a sustainability strategy for its partners.
Schneider Electric will unravel the mySchneider IT Partner Program in phases, with the first phase focusing on the ‘IT Solution Provider’ specialization. The specialization will enable partners to certify across tiers of competency levels based on metrics, to combine multiple IT specializations. Partners can identify, resell, configure, and/or install IT infrastructure solutions to small-medium businesses or enterprise market-sized environments.
Phases two and three, which will emphasize the ‘Software and Services Provider’ and ‘Data Center Solutions Provider’ specializations, will be available in 2023, Schneider Electric says.

In other news, Remark Holdings was added to the Axis Technology Integration Partner Program, making its artificial intelligence-powered Smart Safety Platform (SSP) available on the Axis family of network and smart surveillance cameras.
The SSP is said to be built on its artificial intelligence of things (AIoT) architecture, enabling edge computing on AI boxes and servers for both on-premises and cloud deployment solutions. With the partnership, it integrates SSP into the Axis Camera Application Platform. The combined solution is said to provide customers with camera-based edge AI functions, real-time processing, reduced hardware costs, and reduced storage and bandwidth requirements.
The Axis Technology Integration Partner Program is a partner program that accepts businesses with a commercial product that can integrate with Axis’ products. It offers a range of support to accepted partners, including tools and beta software, customer support, and marketing opportunities.
