Ekinops’ SixSq announces expansion of Nuvla Marketplace with three new app vendors
Ekinops, a network access and virtualization specialist, has added three new application vendors to its Nuvla Marketplace of business applications created by its SixSq subsidiary.
The company says these apps speed up the development and monetization of edge computing solutions. SixSq’s Nuvla is a B2B digital platform that enables containerized edge applications and device management deployment.
The latest vendors selected for the App Vendor Programme include Varnish Software, LatenceTech and Relimetrics.
Varnish Software offers caching and content delivery solutions. LatenceTech provides real-time monitoring and prediction of network low latency. Relimetrics provides manufacturing process controls and AI-based quality audits.
One of the things that Nuvla can do is use the OneOS6 middleware to deploy applications on Ekinops OneAccess branded network equipment. The marketplace also connects app vendors and customers with transparent pricing and contractual terms.
The Nuvla marketplace allows businesses from any sector to obtain, install and control advanced applications with data protection, reduced costs and enhanced business continuity.
According to the company, apps can be used individually or in combination with other apps in the marketplace.
The ‘Nuvla.io App Vendor Programme’ was developed by SixSq in mid-2022.
