Console Connect, StackPath team up to combine the cloud and connectivity on one platform

A partnership between Console Connect and StackPath now allows businesses to consolidate their connectivity and cloud solutions onto a single platform, according to the companies.

Customers can now use the Console Connect Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) platform to connect to the StackPath cloud, with its solutions available through the Console Connect MeetingPlace.

According to the companies, the new partnership allows businesses to enhance the security and performance of their internet-based applications and workloads by setting up dedicated connections to StackPath virtual machines and containers.

Console Connect is a NaaS platform that enables users to connect between enterprises, networks, clouds, SaaS providers, IoT providers and application providers. The company says it features its own global subsea cable network for high-performance connection speeds.

CloudRouter lets businesses access multiple cloud providers such as AWS, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud. Company executives explain that it provides a direct connection without the need for installation or maintenance of any equipment.

More specifically, Console Connect enables businesses to create Layer 2 and Layer 3 point-to-point connections to StackPath and access its connectivity services from ten markets worldwide. Console Connect says customers can access its platform at over 900 data center locations across over 50 countries.

Businesses can also create dedicated links to Los Angeles, Chicago and Singapore edge locations, with more expected.

StackPath and Edgevana also collaborated at the end of last year to give Solana Foundation Tour de Sun ’22 participants access to StackPath servers as a deployment option.

This partnership allowed companies to use Edgevana’s one-click marketplace feature and allow Solana community members to deploy Solana RPC and validator nodes through StackPath. The two companies became official solution providers for the Solana Foundation server program, intending to increase the adoption of Web3 technology.
