Zadara acquires Brazilian tech firm ZVS to expand Latin American presence
Zadara, a provider of edge cloud services, has acquired Brazilian technology provider and ZVS to expand its presence in Latin America. ZVS is Zadara’s exclusive distributor in the region.
“Brazil is a strategically important market and a great source of talent for us, and we are committed to providing local service providers and enterprises with the scalability, security, sustainability, and end-to-end infrastructure they need to succeed in today’s fast-paced digital economy,” says Nelson Nahum, the CEO of Zadara.
Zadara says its edge cloud covers 24 countries globally, with over 500 points of presence. Through the acquisition, Zadara says it will be able to better serve service providers and enterprises in Brazil and throughout Latin America.
“Merging structures with Zadara represents a significant investment in our local market and a commitment to delivering even greater value and improved customer experience,” says Robson Andrade, the general manager of ZVS.
Zadara has gained an expanded team of technical and marketing specialists through its acquisition of ZVS, increasing its technological reach and customer base in Brazil. They are expecting to see significant growth over the coming year, the executives say.
“With the combined resources and expertise, we will continue to provide comprehensive cloud solutions while continuing to invest locally in Latin America to drive innovation and growth,” states Andrade.
According to Zadara, many companies use Zadara’s Edge Cloud Services to access low latency, high-performance, elastic cloud services for their various needs. Industries that have leveraged this service include healthcare, media and entertainment, manufacturing, financial services and technology.

Last November Zadara was in the news for announcing a strategic partnership with Kinx, a Korean-based internet infrastructure service company.
This partnership involved Zadara integrating its zStorage storage-as-a-service to the Kinx CloudHub, a cloud platform connecting nine cloud service providers in Korea. The co-developed storage service aimed to meet the increasing demand for edge cloud storage in east Asia.
