Scale Computing brings HyperCore virtualization to Lenovo ThinkEdge SE100
Scale Computing, a provider of edge computing solutions, has strengthened its partnership with Lenovo to bring an affordable edge solution to any business, through new “HC3 Edge”offerings powered by the Lenovo ThinkEdge SE100 in collaboration with the new SC//HyperCore Virtualization platform.
The Lenovo ThinkEdge SE100 is a state-of-the-art edge, branch and core IT Spectrum Virtualize unit that has been designed with powerful self-healing technology and simplified deployment..
“With Lenovo On Demand now offering the Lenovo ThinkEdge SE100 powered by Scale Computing HyperCore, customers have access to a powerful, modern virtualization platform that’s simple to deploy and manage anywhere, from data center to the edge,” says Craig Theriac, VP of product management at Scale Computing. “This joint solution delivers enterprise-class performance and reliability at the right scale and price point for organizations navigating the transition away from traditional hypervisors.”
Customers can purchase the Lenovo ThinkEdge SE100 via Lenovo on demand, with introductory pricing coming in at around $10,000 for a three-node cluster.
The collaboration also encompasses Scale Computing’s software-enabled Reliant Platform edge computing infrastructure solution as an end-to-end ECaaS offering on Lenovo’s ThinkEdge SE100 for verticals such as retail and hospitality applications.
The partnership is designed to meet increasing demands for edge computing and AI with power-efficient, high-performance and scalable designs.
