Scale Computing announces women of the year awards finalist amid new marketing campaign

Scale Computing, an edge computing and hyperconverged solution provider, has announced that Marlena Fernandez, the company’s vice president of marketing, has been recognized as a finalist for the 2023 CRN Women of the Year Awards.

Scale Computing acknowledges Fernandez’s key role in the company’s growth, which includes increasing its customer base and boosting revenue. Additionally, the company has witnessed growth in its partner network under her leadership.

“Marlena’s continued commitment to the growth of our award-winning Scale Computing Partner Community makes her an invaluable asset to not just Scale Computing, but to our partners, better enabling them to successfully meet their end users’ needs for simple, scalable, and affordable IT infrastructure,” says Jeff Ready, chief executive officer and co-founder at Scale Computing.

In 2019, Marlena Fernandez joined Scale Computing with a specific responsibility of managing global marketing strategy. Her primary objectives included driving the adoption of edge computing, virtualization, and hyperconverged solutions. With over two decades of extensive experience in global marketing, she boasts a proven track record of helping technology companies in achieving their business and sales objectives.

These awards aim to celebrate outstanding women and companies that have demonstrated leadership and innovation in both the IT industry and the broader technology landscape. Computer Reseller News (CRN) is a publication that covers news related to the information technology and tech industry.

Elsewhere, Scale Computing has introduced its Fuel Up campaign, a strategic initiative aimed at attracting prospective channel partners seeking to enhance their technology offerings by integrating SC//Platform into their product portfolio. The company asserts that its solutions effectively streamline partners’ technology offerings, resulting in cost savings and reduced complexity. This, in turn, enables partners to focus their attention towards other crucial business initiatives.

Scale Computing’s partner program has become a resource for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and reseller businesses, providing them with growth opportunities, access to Scale Computing’s advanced technology, and support to deliver quality services to their customers.

“We are committed to providing reliable, highly available, simple, and scalable IT infrastructure to our partners,” Ready adds.
