Qualcomm and e& forge edge AI alliance to power UAE’s digital backbone
Qualcomm and e& announced a strategic collaboration to advance 5G, edge AI, and connectivity technologies, aiming to accelerate digital transformation in the UAE’s government, enterprise, and industrial sectors.
The partnership focuses on developing industrial 5G edge AI gateways, edge AI devices powered by Snapdragon platforms, smart mobility solutions, and connected industrial IoT solutions. Edge computing will play a key role by enabling faster data processing, reduced latency, and enhanced security at the network edge.
Qualcomm’s new Engineering Center in Abu Dhabi will support the collaboration by exploring use cases in sectors like energy, manufacturing, logistics, retail, and smart mobility. The aim is to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and future-ready public services across the UAE.
