Pulsant acquires SCC data centers to boost UK edge coverage
Pulsant, a UK edge infrastructure provider, will acquire two data centers from SCC in Birmingham and Fareham, expanding its network to 14 data centers across the UK.
The acquisition includes SCC’s colocation clients and operational teams, ensuring long-term stability and growth for clients and facilities.
A strategic partnership between Pulsant and SCC will provide SCC clients access to Pulsant’s national data center network for colocation services.
The Birmingham data center, with a 2 MW power capacity, is centrally located and strategically important, while the Fareham facility offers 3 MW capacity and serves corporate and service provider clients.

SCC chose Pulsant for its expertise and commitment to long-term investment, ensuring continuity for customers and opportunities for employees. The deal is expected to be completed in April 2025, with all data center staff transitioning to Pulsant.
