Palo Alto Networks aims to redefine network security with Strata Cloud Manager

Palo Alto Networks has launched an AI-driven Zero Trust management and operations solution for cybersecurity, the Strata Cloud Manager. Additionally, the company announced a new suite of security capabilities and five Next-Generation Firewalls designed for modern enterprise use cases.

The company says the platform bolsters security posture and proactively prevents network disruptions at enforcement points.

Anand Oswal, SVP and GM of Network Security at Palo Alto Networks, states: “This approach effectively prevents patient zero. We are also introducing incredible hardware platforms that offer industry-leading performance with best-in-class security.”

The Strata Cloud Manager aims to tackle the challenges of insufficient predictive insights, limited integration across security tools and inconsistent policies. With a focus on addressing security gaps, the company says it offers improved protection and operational experience.

The company further notes that Strata Cloud Manager offers continuous network uptime,  network security through AI-powered analysis and streamlined network security management for increased efficiency.

Sebastian Schubert, the technology lead at TUI Hotels & Resorts, notes: “The ability to create one configuration and apply it seamlessly across our entire deployment has been a game-changer. Rollouts and management of firewalls are now streamlined and efficient.”

John Grady, the principal analyst at Enterprise Security Group, adds, ” By expanding the use of AI across additional security services, as well as its cloud-based management platform for more efficient and proactive operations, Palo Alto Networks continues to respond to the key pain points organizations face.”

Palo Alto Networks notes that its cloud-delivered security services have protected over 60,000 customers against threats by integrating machine learning capabilities into its cloud-based detection engines. According to the company, this approach has led to early detection and mitigation of attacks, improvements in threat prevention, URL filtering and blocking highly evasive command-and-control attacks.
