NTT DATA and AWS target regulated enterprise cloud and agentic AI at scale
NTT DATA has entered into a multi-year strategic collaboration agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS) in order to accelerate client transformation to the cloud and boost clients’ adoption of the AI that is being empowered by AWS.
Specifically, the partnership centers on: AI-driven cloud transformation; industry-specific cloud solutions; AI and data innovation for managed services, as well as; regulated cloud offerings in Europe.
NTT DATA will use AWS services to help transform legacy systems, develop secure cloud platforms, and provide specific solutions across industries such as financial services, healthcare, public sector and manufacturing.

The alliance covers developing industry-specific AI-based technologies through NTT DATA’s Industry Cloud according to the needs of each individual business vertical.
NTT DATA formed an AWS business group made up of close to 11,000 AWS certified professionals with the goal of certifying 10,000 more over three years.
The initiative is aimed at helping enterprises in Europe to comply with regulatory requirements such as the AWS European sovereign cloud, allowing them to effectively transition to secure, compliant cloud services.
Proven stories of success, such as Honda Trading Asia’s move to the AWS Cloud, demonstrate how the alliance transforms existing systems and unleashes AI insights.
NTT DATA would thereby like to enhance its Smart AI Agent ecosystem in order to roll out and manage responsible AI solutions on a larger scale for enterprise utilization.
