Nokia boosts industrial edge capabilities with AI, automation, and safety innovations
Nokia has expanded its industrial application portfolio with six new Industry 4.0 applications on the MX Industrial Edge (MXIE) platform, enhancing automation, efficiency, safety, security, and sustainability for industrial enterprises.
The new applications integrate advanced technologies such as AI, video analytics, machine automation, and environmental sensing, addressing challenges in asset-intensive industries such as ports, mining, and manufacturing.
Key applications include Prosys OPC UA Forge for data organization, Bosch Rexroth’s ctrlX OS for machine automation, SwitchON DeepInspect for AI-powered quality inspection, and Ipsotek VISuite for advanced video analytics.
