Netmore has expanded its LoRaWAN operations in France by acquiring Objenious assets

Netmore Group, an operator of LoRaWAN technology throughout Europe, has broadened its presence in France through the acquisition of Objenious’ LoRaWAN assets, previously owned by Bouygues Telecom. As part of this expansion, the company plans to integrate the SPOT platform, a LoRaWAN management portal that has been widely used by Objenious customers.

Netmore’s move is set to enhance the overall European network operated by the Netmore Group, thereby offering upgraded IoT application coverage options in France. The group says that it plans to meet the sustainability goals by ensuring the efficient operation of the network. This acquisition enables Netmore to provide a wide range of services related to the LoRaWAN network, including infrastructure management, monitoring, radio planning, maintenance, and customer support.

“We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Bouygues Telecom and Objenious for their valued collaboration. To the esteemed customers of Objenious who have opted, or will opt, to pursue the LoRaWAN journey with us, we anticipate contributing collectively to the advancement of the LoRaWAN market in France,” says Arnaud Delprat, managing director of Netmore Group in France.

Netmore has reported that the French market is experiencing a surge in demand for smart metering systems, necessitating resource efficiency in massive deployments. By utilizing Netmore’s LoRaWAN connectivity framework, water meter manufacturers can achieve increased measurability and exercise greater control over water resources.

The Netmore Group has revealed its plans to offer on-demand LoRaWAN coverage for large-scale systems working for utilities and the IoT segment. Employing Netmore’s LoRaWAN connectivity will enable customers and partners to achieve cost-effective and reliable smart metering infrastructure. The company is already present in Sweden, Denmark, Great Britain, the Netherlands, and Spain.

“Our Pan-European strategy highlights our commitment to integrating across diverse markets, with France playing an integral role. This expansive approach not only strengthens connectivity but also amplifies the commercial reach for our French partners, allowing them to tap into wider European opportunities,” says Ove Anebygd, chief executive officer of Netmore Group.
