Lantronix secures role in U.S. Army teal drones with edge AI-compliant solution

Lantronix, a global provider of secure data access and management solutions for Internet of Things (IoT), has revealed that its TAA- and NDAA-compliant solution has been selected by Teal Drones for use in the U.S. Army’s Short-Range Reconnaissance (SRR) Program aboard the Black Widow drone.

The solution features the Qualcomm Dragonwing QRB5165 processor delivering cutting-edge edge AI processing and is designed to meet the strict U.S. security criteria.

Teal Drones’ technology can meet Department of Defense (DoD) mission requirements for cybersecurity and operate under the most complex and demanding environments due to its partnership with Lantronix.
