Intel Ignite takes its deep-tech startup program to London

Intel Ignite London’s Managing Director, Ofer Shayo, believes the startups will redefine the tech industry’s landscape and are a testament to the UK’s innovative spirit.

“As our deep tech accelerator program expands to an additional home in London, these ten startups are set to disrupt and redefine the future of technology,” states Shayo.

Out of over 200 startups that applied for the program, ten were selected after evaluations by Intel executives, industry leaders, venture capitalists and entrepreneurs. These chosen companies represent a wide range of technologies, including cloud and edge computing, autonomous technologies and robotics, generative AI, machine learning, large language models, data, security and privacy and software developer tools.

The first cohort for the UK includes startups such as Apoha, Circuit Mind, Crypto Quantique, Finchetto, Ivy, LGN, Lumai, Skippr, Vaultree and VyperCore. These companies are working on various technologies, from sensory intelligence and automatic component selection to all-optical network switches and AI framework unification.

Tzahi (Zack) Weisfeld, Intel Ignite’s vice president and general manager, explains that the program has been actively collaborating with early-stage deep-tech firms since its inception in 2019.

“Our participating companies collectively have secured an astounding $1.7 billion in funding, and we look forward to fostering more disruption and driving the cutting edge of technology forward,” continues Weisfeld.

So far, the Intel Ignite accelerator program has had 148 global startup participants in Europe, Israel and the US to date.
