Hivelocity partners with Beyond.pl for expansion into Poland with the new blockchain project

After providing bare metal cloud and edge computing solutions to thousands of businesses across seven continents, US-based Hivelocity has partnered with Beyond.pl to provide colocation and managed services to Central Europe from Beyond.pl’s facilities in Poland. Within two months of discussion, both the service providers agreed to expand Hivelocity’s blockchain project with Beyond.pl providing engineering hands-on technicians and connectivity solutions including global internet and cross-connect services according to Beyond.pl.

Hivelocity provides cloud and dedicated server solutions to 32 edge locations in major cities across North America, South America, Africa, Europe, India, Asia and Australia. Hivelocity was looking for geographical diversity and Poland’s strategic location with cost-effective solutions made a well-connected choice, executives said. Hivelocity already provides IT infrastructure with collocation in Data Center 2 located on the Beyond.pl’s campus in Central Europe’s Poznan, Poland. The facility, when originally constructed, was built to the ANSI/TIA-942 Rated 4 standard.

“In the course of the work, the technical teams proved that the quality of service at Beyond.pl is comparable to that of the best providers in Western Europe. Our cooperation with Beyond.pl has been marked by a high degree of professionalism since the very first contact with company representatives,” says Richard Nicholas, senior vice president of corporate development at Hivelocity in a statement.

Last year, Polish data center operator Beyond.pl launched Beyond East-West Corridor which allowed the connections between Poznan and Frankfurt within 11 milliseconds of round trip latency. Additionally, a few months after the announcement of Beyond East-West Corridor, Beyond.pl increased its international reach via a partnership with Megaport. Through Megaport’s global connectivity service Beyond.pl customers can establish secure connections with more than 700 data center facilities around the world — a factor that to Hivelocity’s consideration of the company’s offerings.

The collaboration between Hivelocity and Beyond.pl is aimed towards expanding an ongoing blockchain project that Hivelocity is currently helping to implement in 30 locations, including Poland.
