Flasheye chooses Avassa for edge application management
Flasheye, a GDPR-compliant deviation and incident detection solution provider for object sensing, has chosen Avassa as its edge application management platform. Flasheye says the Avassa platform allows them to offer their technology as a service with automated, secure and centralized sensor management.
FlashEye has chosen Avassa’s edge application management platform to lifecycle manage the software running across its LiDAR-powered environments. This solution helps optimize industrial production lines and guarantee safety while preserving privacy and integrity through detailed 3D data processing in real-time, FlashEye says.
“We are thrilled to onboard Flasheye and to be a part of their continued journey and growth,” says Fredrik Lundberg, the CEO of Avassa. “We enable Flasheye to package their LiDAR solution as a service and to take responsibility for the delivery and ongoing operations.”
Flasheye has transitioned to a SaaS model, providing automated lifecycle and proactive monitoring capabilities. The company says this allows for multi-tenancy within one platform and the ability to alert customers before any operational impact occurs.
According to the companies, Avassa’s edge application management platform allows Flasheye to offer its LiDAR solution as a service on a much larger scale, reducing overhead and enabling them to focus on developing new features.
“Together, Flasheye can focus on what they do best, developing stellar LiDAR solutions for increased customer security,” adds Lundberg. “Meanwhile, we can provide them with tools for automated and remote operational lifecycle management that unlocks scale.”
At the end of last year, Avassa announced that Extenda Retail, a retail software provider, also chose Avassa’s application edge orchestration platform to become a part of its hybrid solution. The companies say that collaborating ensures that business-critical operations run smoothly and customers do not face costly downtime.
