FAE Technology teams up with ex-Microsoft CTO Ray Ozzie to advance AI and edge computing

FAE Technology partners with former Microsoft CTO Ray Ozzie to enhance edge computing and AI sectors, aiming to drive innovation and market growth nationally and internationally.

Ray Ozzie served as Microsoft’s chief technical officer and chief software architect from 2005 to 2010. Before Microsoft, he was known for creating Lotus Notes.

Ozzie founded Talko, a company focused on voice-centric mobile apps for business teams. He served as CEO until Microsoft acquired Talko in late 2015.

He also joined Hewlett-Packard‘s board in 2013 and Safecast’s board in 2017. In April 2020, he secured $11 million for his IoT venture, Blues Wireless.

Ozzie joins as a Technology Advisor to drive FAE Technology into new edge computing and AI ventures.

The company emphasizes that the partnership showcases FAE Technology’s commitment to competitiveness by leveraging advanced technology and business models under Ozzie’s leadership.

Collaborating with Ozzie will boost FAE Technology’s strategic position by leveraging Ozzie’s expertise to strengthen its edge computing and AI tech sector foothold and expand its market share, Fae Technology notes.

Investor trust in the decision was reflected in a 0.9% rise in the company’s stock, closing at EUR 3.52 per share.

Ray Ozzie’s Blues Wireless company unveiled a partnership program in 2022, offering organizations discounted rates on products and developer support. This initiative aims to accelerate IoT solution delivery by up to ten times while lowering costs.

The company aims to assist solution integrators and design consultancies in efficiently delivering large-scale global IoT solutions. By leveraging Blues Wireless edge-to-cloud infrastructure, developers can easily access sensor and controller data for cloud applications, addressing common challenges in enterprise-scale IoT projects.

Pulsar Labs, an IoT and GNSS products provider, was one of the first companies to partner with Blues Wireless.

According to Dan Wang, the owner of Pulsar Labs Inc, working with Blues Wireless, its team developed and delivered numerous IoT products that were previously unattainable. These products included a GPS tracker with a decade-long battery life and an AI-infused IoT node equipped with cameras and sensors.
