The European data center market is growing exponentially; this fact has not gone unnoticed by AtlasEdge Data Centres and its backers. AtlasEdge is a new Pan-European company providing colocation and data center services, but has assets beyond most startups, thanks to its backers.
AtlasEdge recently announced the successful acquisition of twelve data centers from Colt DCS, a world-class provider of hyperscale data centers across Europe & APAC.
Prior to that acquisition, the company made a large number of executive hires, including Giuliano Di Vitantonio, who was formerly an executive vice president at Digital Realty. He will join the company as CEO from January 2022. Together with the appointment, AtlasEdge confirmed it received a strategic investment from Digital Realty.
