A new edition of Edge Computing Fireside Chats: Analyst Edition series of video interviews has landed. In this episode, Jim Davis, Editor of EdgeIR.com talks with Daniel Beazer, Senior Contributing Analyst with Structure Research, about recent developments from AWS.

AWS recently held its re:Invent customer conference, where the company made a flurry of product announcements, as usual. The company’s Private 5G announcement sparked a lot of conversation, and we followed up with some more thoughts on AWS’ competition and cooperation with its telecoms customers as enterprises seek out next-generation wireless services to link their IoT and edge computing initiatives.

This episode also touches on the significance of AWS’ expanding relationship with the financial services industry, as exemplified by the deal to stake Outposts in Nasdaq’s data center.
