Ceva and Edge Impulse boost edge AI with streamlined vision model for NeuPro-Nano NPUs

Wireless communications, sensing and edge AI service provider Ceva and Edge Impulse have announced enhanced computer vision capabilities for embedded machine learning applications using NVIDIA’s TAO toolkit.

The integration allows for full support of Edge Impulse Studio and NVIDIA TAO toolkit with Ceva-NeuPro Studio for NPN32 and NPN64 NPUs.

Edge Impulse’s platform optimizes AI performance for NeuPro-Nano NPUs with minimal coding required.

The collaboration aims to simplify AI adoption at the edge, enabling developers to deploy end-to-end AI applications easily.

Ceva-NeuPro-Nano NPUs are now available for licensing, enhancing AIoT products that require visual data analysis.

The partnership emphasizes the potential for novel use cases across various industries leveraging AI and machine learning. 

Edge Impulse and STMicroelectronics recently announced official support for the STM32N6 microcontroller, to empower developers to create applications in sectors such as industrial automation and smart home technologies.
