Bluebird Network, Kao Data, and IonQ make key appointments to revamp leadership

In a convergence of cutting-edge technologies and new edge initiatives, Kao Data, Bluebird Network, and IonQ have recently engaged in appointments aimed at driving innovation across diverse sectors.

Bluebird Network changes gear on the CEO front

Bluebird Network, a fiber and data center infrastructure provider and operator, has hired Jason W. Adkins as new chief executive officer. Adkins will assume his new role on March 18, 2024, taking over from the company’s current CEO, Michael Morey.

Kao Data hires new CPO

Kao Data, a developer and operator of data centers engineered for AI and advanced computing, has appointed Kalay Moodley as its new chief people officer (CPO).

She joins Kao Data most recently from Digital Realty, where she led a team responsible for spearheading the organization’s recruitment strategy,

IonQ welcomes Dell Technologies’ president of global sales to its board of directors

IonQ, a quantum computing company, has announced the appointment of Bill Scannell, president of global sales and customer operations at Dell Technologies, to its board of directors. The company says Scannell will provide input and direction for IonQ’s system sales strategy, in a bid to help strengthen the company’s leadership position in the quantum economy.

“We are thrilled to welcome Bill to our Board of Directors, as his decades of sales experience at Dell Technologies will prove instrumental in how IonQ engages with our current and future user base,” comments IonQ CEO, Peter Chapman.
